The reticle when illuminated offers a choice of brightness settings which provides the hunter with an easy to see reticle eliminating those missed shots due to the hard to see black reticle on a dark target. The illumination reticle is powered by a common CR2025 3volt battery. Under normal light conditions with the illumination switched off, the black reticle is visible.
